Dhi Qar Criminal Court issued a death sentence against two terrorists for the murder of a journalist and a photographer working for Al-Sharqiya Channel in 2013.

The Supreme Judicial Council explained in a statement: “The terrorists committed this crime in the city of Mosul while preparing a press report for the channel and with terrorist motives.”
