Dubai: The fourth edition of the Dubai Stem Cell Congress commenced on Saturday, featuring the participation of experts from Qatar and more than 500 physicians and specialists, including 26 stem cell experts from various parts of the world.

According to Qatar News Agency, Dr. Fatma Alhashimi, Congress Chairperson and CEO of First Stem Cell and Genomics Laboratory, emphasized in her opening remarks that this congress serves as a global platform for researchers and industry leaders to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration, and accelerate innovation. This initiative aims to bolster Dubai and the Middle East's standing at the forefront of global biomedical advancements.

The two-day congress will focus on the latest research in stem cell therapy and modern regenerative medicine treatments. These sessions highlight the impact of these therapies on developing new treatment technologies. Dr. Alhashimi expressed optimism that stem cell therapy will soon become a viable option for treating numerous intractable diseases.

In addition to the main sessions, the congress will feature six specialized workshops discussing the latest research and developments in the field of stem cells. An awareness session will also be held to discuss the latest technologies and successful clinical trials.
