QTerminals, the company in charge for managing and operating Phase I of Hamad Port, affirmed that Hamad Port witnessed exceptional operational figures last July, with a total of 133 commercial vessels received at the Port.
The company unveiled that the Port handled 122,827 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) containers last month; that is a rise estimated 29.41% when compared to last June, which constitutes a new accomplishment for QTerminals and Hamad Port.
QTerminals is considered a qualitative addition to the strategic plan of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, aimed at promoting the competitive capabilities of the country on the global map in the operation of commercial ports and providing integrated logistics services.
The launch of the company also constitutes a new era of excellence and leadership within the framework of the strategic vision aimed at transforming Qatar into a global center for trade and logistics services in the region.
