The UAE Embassy in Mozambique has distributed food baskets as part of the Iftar Project of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, member of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), as part of the Year of Zayed’s activities.
The distribution of the food baskets included most neighbouring villages of the capital, Maputo. Dr. Rashid Al-Afari, Charge d’Affaires at the UAE Embassy in Maputo, has supervised the distribution of the assistance.
More than 2500 persons benefited from the aid and the embassy has been keen to reach the largest number of beneficiaries.
