Egypt, South Africa Leaders Talk Bilateral Ties on Phone

Egypt: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed on Monday bilateral relations and Africa with South African counterpart Cyril Ramaphosa. An Egyptian presidency statement said the phone talks reflected both leaders’ keenness to expand cooperation in various fields, particularly the economy, trade, and investment.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two presidents also discussed ways to enhance security and stability across Africa and mechanisms to support bilateral coordination between the two countries within multilateral frameworks, particularly within the African Union, which would contribute to advancing development and consolidating the pillars of stability.
