Cairo: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed in a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi the relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, in addition to developments regarding the Iranian nuclear file.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement today that Abdelatty stressed during the call the importance of continuing efforts aimed at de-escalation, building confidence, and creating conditions that would provide a genuine opportunity for diplomatic solutions. He underlined the need to resume dialogue to reach a compreHensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear file that takes into account the interests of all parties and contributes to achieving regional security and stability.
