Egypt: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aatti and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi have underscored the necessity of advancing the second phase of U.S. President Donald Trump's Gaza plan while ensuring the unobstructed delivery of humanitarian aid.
According to Qatar News Agency, the two ministers, during a phone conversation, highlighted the importance of establishing conditions conducive to early recovery and reconstruction efforts in Gaza. They also emphasized the role of the Palestinian Authority and the continuation of the ceasefire under international supervision.
Furthermore, the ministers reiterated the significance of preserving Palestinian territorial integrity between Gaza and the West Bank. They advocated for a two-state solution grounded on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as the capital, and expressed concerns that unlawful Israeli activities in the West Bank could disrupt regional stability.
The dialogue between the ministers also focused on the need to mitigate regional tensions, seek diplomatic resolutions, and foster strong Arab cooperation to achieve lasting political solutions that ensure regional security and stability.
