German VfL Wolfsburg announced Tuesday that its Egyptian international forward Omar Marmoush will leave the team on a free transfer next summer, after the end of his contract.

Marmoush joined VfL Wolfsburg 2017 coming from Egyptian Wadi Degla club to participate with the club’s U23 team, before making his debut in the Bundesliga in 2020.

The Egyptian international player was sent on loan to FC St. Pauli for six months at the start of 2021 and then spent the 2021/22 campaign with VfB Stuttgart. The forward made a total of 34 Bundesliga appearances for VfL, scoring five goals.
