Doha: European stocks closed mixed Tuesday as global investors awaited the US Federal Reserve’s monetary policy update. The pan-European Stoxx 600 index fell 0.04 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, the French CAC 40 index declined 0.69 percent, while the British FTSE 100 index also fell 0.03 percent. Meanwhile, the German DAX index showed a rise of 0.53 percent.
