Kuwait city: European stock indices opened higher on Tuesday, supported by a sharp drop in oil and gas prices. The pan-European Stoxx Europe 600 index rose at the start of trading to around 606.26 points, as European markets rebounded after sharp losses in previous sessions.
According to Qatar News Agency, France's CAC 40 index rose 1.91%, while Germany's DAX climbed 2.02%. Britain's FTSE 100 gained 1.18%, and Italy's MIB rose 2.47%.
