Federal Police arrest (13) suspects and seize unlicensed weapons in Baghdad


Baghdad: Federal Police forces arrested (13) suspects and seized unlicensed weapons in Baghdad.

The Command stated in a statement that the Fifth Division of the Federal Police carried out security operations in Baghdad, which resulted in the arrest of (3) suspects in accordance with the legal article (28 drugs) in the Husseiniya Al-Maamel area, and they were found in their possession of (a transparent white bag containing crystal, 3 ampoules, 3 hand grenade detonators with small lighters and a pipe for use and a small electronic scale).

In addition, (3) persons involved in two quarrels were arrested in the areas of (Al-Shaab, Al-Nasr neighborhood), and they were found in their possession of a Kalashnikov rifle, a Turkish axis pistol) and a suspect wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article (381, separating a newborn child from his mother) in the Al-Shaab area, who was properly handed over to the complainant.

The squads of the division were also able to arrest 6 violators for not c
arrying identification papers, and within the regional inspection duty in search of unlicensed weapons in Al-Hussainiya Al-Buaita area, (two Kalashnikov rifles, a Toto hunting rifle, Kalashnikov rifle magazines, a BKC machine gun belt, and a fiber vest quiver) were seized. The accused, violators, and all seized items were handed over to the competent authorities in accordance with the law.
