The detachments of the Fourth Region Border Command arrested today, a number of infiltrators in the Shalamjah area, east of Basra.

A source in the leadership told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that, in continuation of the efforts to secure the Iraqi-Iranian border, (5) Iranian infiltrators coming from the Iranian side were arrested in the second regiment sector, after monitoring them with thermal cameras at the Shalamjah police station.

He added: Legal measures will be taken against them and handed over them to the competent authorities.
