Fog Warning Issued For Qatar’s Coastal Areas

Doha: Qatar’s Meteorology Department has warned of poor horizontal visibility early on Friday, particularly across coastal areas and parts of offshore waters, due to light fog. Forecasts said conditions along the coast will be mild to relatively cold during the day, with scattered clouds, turning colder at night. Light fog is expected in the early hours before gradually clearing.

According to Qatar News Agency, offshore, fog is also forecast initially in some areas, with partly cloudy skies later and a chance of light rain at times. North-westerly winds will remain generally light to moderate, with sea conditions calm to slight. Visibility may drop to as low as one kilometre or less early on before improving later in the day. The maximum temperature in Doha is expected to reach 23°C, with sunset at 4:51 pm.

Here are the tide timings for today as reported: Doha will experience a high tide at 8:13 am and a low tide at 4:03 pm. Mesaieed’s high tide is at 9:59 am. Al Wakrah will see a high tide at 9:18 am and a low tide at 5:31 pm. Al Khor’s high tide is at 8:34 am and low tide at 4:38 pm. Al Ruwais will experience a high tide at 8:34 am and a low tide at 3:38 pm. Dukhan has a high tide scheduled for 2:00 pm and a low tide at 7:54 am. Abu Samra will see a high tide at 2:01 pm and a low tide at 7:31 am.
