Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Fouad Hussein, received Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, Senior Advisor for Foreign Affairs and Climate Change in the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, and her accompanying delegation. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that during the meeting, a number of regional and international issues were discussed, in addition to the impact of climate change on the environment and societies, and preparations for participation in the COP 29 conference scheduled to be held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, were presented. For his part, the Minister expressed his support for the efforts made by representatives of the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government in related fields.
