Tehran: The second round of negotiations with the United States on the Iranian nuclear file will convene in Geneva, Switzerland, on Tuesday, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi was quoted by the Iranian IRNA news agency as saying.
According to Qatar News Agency, Takht-Ravanchi, a member of the Iranian negotiating team, added that should Washington be ready to discuss lifting the sanctions, Iran would be ready to make concessions to reach a nuclear deal.
Commenting on the first round of negotiations held in Muscat, Oman, in early February 2026, Takht-Ravanchi affirmed that they had somewhat progressed in a positive direction, but it is still very premature to make a final judgment.
Regarding the extensive communications with countries of the region on the negotiations, the Iranian official stated that there is a near unanimity in the region against war.
