Al-Salihi appeals to the ِِِAmbassadors of a number of Arab and neighboring countries and invites them to provide health assistance

Kirkuk The Head of the Parliamentary Committee for Human Rights, Arshad Al-Salihi, issued an appeal to the Ambassadors of a number of Arab countries and the neighboring countries to provide health assistance in the face of the Corona virus.

The MP said: “We send the homeland and citizen message to the Ambassadors of the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and neighboring countries of Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Kuwait, and the two neighbors, Turkey and Iran, to provide support and assistance to health institutions in Iraq, and Kirkuk in particular, which suffers from acute shortage of equipment breathing, oxygen cylinders, means of protection, tonics, sterilization and fogging materials, “stressing that what we are witnessing exceeds the capabilities of Iraq and what we see in Kirkuk and Nasiriyah in particular are infections and challenges that require urgent support to confront the virus and increase the numbers of daily infections and deaths.”

He added: “What is important for us today is to guarantee the safety of the citizen and the treatment of the infected, in the midst of many challenges witnessed by Iraq, and we are directed to our brothers and friends in order to contribute to the support of our health institutions.
