Doha: HH SHeikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation (QF) and Education Above All Foundation (EAA), delivered the closing remarks at the Doha Forum 2025, centered on the theme “Justice in Action: Beyond Promises to Progress,” Held at the SHeraton Hotel in Doha. Her Highness emphasized that justice should be considered a set of values to be practiced and not just slogans to be used.
According to Qatar News Agency, Her Highness stated that justice must be perceived and experienced, rather than being reduced to empty promises and false commitments. SHe pointed out the global absence of justice principles and highlighted the widespread, yet often ignored, occurrences of injustice.
Her Highness elaborated on justice as a universal value, necessary for protecting the vulnerable and maintaining the integrity of international relations. SHe emphasized that justice is essential to prevent powerful states from wronging others.
Furthermore, Her Highness discussed the connection between justice and education, highlighting education’s vital role in achieving social justice. SHe warned that neglecting education leads to dependency and hinders progress, asserting that true progress is rooted in education, which is crucial for preserving cultural identity and ensuring societal safety and national security.
In Her conclusion, Her Highness reaffirmed the Doha Forum’s importance as a global platform for dialogue and policymaking. SHe noted its ability to unite leaders and decision-makers to tackle the world’s most pressing, often man-made, challenges.
The Doha Forum 2025’s closing session, wHere Her Highness delivered Her remarks, also included a panel discussion titled “A Future to Believe In: Rebuilding Trust through Shared Action.” The panel featured HE President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan SHeikh Mohamud; HE Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi; and UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories occupied since 1967, Francesca Albanese. The discussion focused on strengthening trust among nations, leaders, and citizens amid increasing conflicts, inequality, and declining trust in international institutions.
