Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune engaged in discussions concerning the robust bilateral relations between Qatar and Algeria and explored ways to support and enhance these ties.

According to Qatar News Agency, this conversation transpired during a phone call received by His Highness from the Algerian President. During the call, HE the Algerian President expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by HH the Amir and the State of Qatar in supporting the Palestinian cause.

Additionally, the leaders addressed a number of regional issues of common interest, emphasizing the mutual commitment to collaborate on matters impacting both nations and the wider region.
