Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian engaged in a phone conversation to discuss the enhancement and development of bilateral relations, as well as regional and international developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation highlighted the commitment of both nations to enhance their cooperation. HH the Amir took the opportunity to express Qatar’s condemnation of a recent Israeli attack on Iranian territory, labeling it a violation of Iran’s sovereignty and a breach of international law principles.

The discussion also centered on the importance of reducing tensions and pursuing diplomatic solutions to achieve lasting peace in the region. Both leaders emphasized the need for comprehensive peace initiatives to address ongoing issues.
