Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani attended the final match of the 2025 HH the Amir Football Cup between Al Rayyan and Al Gharafa, held at the Khalifa International Stadium on Saturday evening.

According to Qatar News Agency, the event was also graced by the presence of HH the Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, alongside several other sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.

The significant match drew attendance from HE President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach, HE Minister of Youth and Sports of the Syrian Arab Republic Mohammed Sameh Hamedh, and various heads of Arab and international sports federations. Members of the press, media, and a large crowd of football fans were also present to witness the thrilling encounter.

Al Gharafa emerged victorious, defeating Al Rayyan with a score of 2-1. Following the match, HH the Amir awarded the Al Gharafa players with the cup and gold medals, while the Al Rayyan players received silver medals.
