London: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, along with HH Consort Sheikha Jowaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al-Thani, arrived in London for a state visit to the United Kingdom. Their Highnesses were invited by HM King Charles III for this significant visit.
According to Qatar News Agency, the royal couple was greeted at Stansted International Airport by Viscount Hood, representing HM King Charles III, along with several British officials. Also present were HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Kingdom, Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Thani, and HE Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the State of Qatar, Neerav Patel, as well as members of Qatar’s Embassy.
Accompanying HH the Amir is HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, along with an official delegation. As a gesture of welcome and celebration, two Royal Air Force warplanes escorted HH the Amir’s plane upon its entry into UK airspace.
