Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call Thursday from HE Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The conversation focused on the recent Israeli attack on the city of Doha, which has raised significant regional security concerns.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Greek Prime Minister expressed his solidarity with the State of Qatar, emphasizing his deep concern over what he described as a flagrant violation of international laws and norms. He noted that the attack poses a serious threat to the security of not only Qatar but also the broader region. Stressing the importance of diplomacy, Mitsotakis advocated for dialogue as the sole means to restore stability and achieve sustainable peace in the Middle East.

In response, HH the Amir reiterated Qatar’s commitment to taking all necessary measures to protect its security and territorial integrity. He assured that the State of Qatar would maintain its sovereignty in light of the recent aggression. HH the Amir also extended his gratitude to the Greek Prime Minister for his genuine concerns and the solidarity shown by Greece towards Qatar and its people.
