HH the Amir Honors Top Students at Amiri Diwan Ceremony

Doha: In a significant ceremony at the Amiri Diwan, HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani honored outstanding high school students for their academic excellence, recognizing their alignment with national priority disciplines as outlined in Qatar National Vision 2030. This event highlighted the state’s deep appreciation for education and academic achievement.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Arab newspaper noted that the ceremony delivered two crucial messages: it served as moral encouragement, emphasizing that the students’ successes are highly valued, and it underscored the importance of hard work in serving the nation. HH the Amir’s focus on priority disciplines was seen as a strategic vision, suggesting that excellence should be used to harness knowledge in fields that meet state needs and address future challenges.

Al-Arab concluded that the honoring of top students is more than a ceremonial gesture; it is a long-term investment in young minds who will shape the future. It sends a powerful message that education is the gateway to building a prosperous nation.

In addition, Al-Watan newspaper emphasized the exceptional attention education receives from Qatar’s leadership, which views it as a key to providing equal opportunities and achieving sustainable development. The paper noted that His Highness also issued an Amiri decree establishing the Qatar Award for Localization in the Private Sector, aimed at encouraging positive competition in job localization.

Meanwhile, The Peninsula highlighted the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation’s “Back to School” campaign from August 15 to December 31, which blends fundraising with community engagement to support children in conflict zones, poverty, or displacement. The campaign empowers youth, fostering empathy and global citizenship, and aims to transform campuses into catalysts for change.

The Peninsula concluded by noting that such campaigns quietly and powerfully change lives, emphasizing that EAA’s initiative is about justice, not just charity. Every contribution is a step toward a more equitable world.
