Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a verbal message from HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, expressing Egypt’s support for Qatar and condemning the Israeli attack, along with discussing regional and international developments.
According to Qatar News Agency, the message was delivered by HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Dr. Badr Abdel Aati during a meeting at the Amiri Diwan. The Egyptian minister conveyed President El-Sisi’s greetings and affirmed Egypt’s rejection of any actions threatening Qatar’s security, stability, and sovereignty. He condemned the Israeli attack on Doha, labeling it a violation of international law, and reiterated Egypt’s solidarity with Qatar and support for any decision Qatar makes in response.
HH the Amir expressed his gratitude to President El-Sisi for his supportive stance and appreciation for Egypt’s solidarity. He entrusted Dr. Badr Abdel Aati to relay his greetings and thanks to the Egyptian President, wishing him success and prosperity for the Egyptian people.
The meeting also included discussions on strengthening bilateral relations and reviewing developments in the region.
