Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a cable of condolences to HH Amir of the sisterly State of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on the death of Sheikh Ali Abdullah Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah.

According to Qatar News Agency, the expression of sympathy highlights the strong ties between the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait. The message was sent following the passing of Sheikh Ali Abdullah Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah, a member of the Kuwaiti royal family.
