Ilam’s Customs Department Reveals In Numbers The Volume Of Its Exports To Iraq

Baghdad, The Director-General of the Customs Department of Ilam Province, West of Iran, Ruhollah Gholami, announced the export of more than 125,000 tons of various agricultural products (summer crops) at a value of 55 million and 687 thousand dollars to Iraq from the international borders of Mehran.

Gholami said that the crossing exported goods worth 632 million dollars in the first eight months of this year from the international borders of Mehran to Iraq.

He added, “This quantity of goods weighs 139% compared to last year and 122% in terms of price of the value of export growth in dollars.”

He continued: The most important exports in the mentioned period included building materials, fruits and vegetables, plastic products, industrial products, glass and cups, household appliances, and metal products.
