Independent MP: Voting On Approving The Budget May Not Be In One Session

Independent MP Jawad Al-Yasari expected that the vote on approving the budget might not be in one session.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that “despite the completion of the second reading of the state’s general budget, there is still push and pull in light of the unwillingness of some to pass it for three years.

He added: There are many notes on the budget, including the allocations of the provinces, and the matter will become clear when voting, which may not be in one session.

He explained that “passing the budget according to what is required will be the agreement of the large blocs on it completely.”

The House of Representatives adjourned its session after it completed the second reading of the budget yesterday evening.
