Intelligence arrests nine drug traffickers in Baghdad

Intelligence detachments arrested nine drug dealers in Baghdad.

The Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate stated in a statement that its detachments arrested a dangerous drug trafficking network consisting of 4 defendants against whom judicial arrest warrants were issued in one of the capital’s areas, and seized 8,000 narcotic pills and 5,000 narcotic ampoules in their possession.

It added: “The detachments arrested five other drug dealers, red-handed, in Baghdad, and seized in their possession a quantity of crystal narcotic substance and tools used in drug use, in addition to various weapons and ammunition.”
