Intense Israeli Airstrikes Hit Southern Gaza Amid Ongoing Shelling

Doha: Israeli occupation forces carried out heavy airstrikes early Friday across southern Gaza, coinciding with continued artillery shelling and demolition operations in eastern areas of the territory. Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that at least four air raids targeted the eastern and southern parts of Khan Younis, accompanied by intensive fire from Israeli helicopters and military vehicles.

According to Qatar News Agency, in Rafah, southern Gaza, helicopter gunships also struck densely populated neighborhoods, while Israeli naval vessels opened heavy fire offshore near Khan Younis. In Gaza City, Israeli forces carried out wide-scale demolitions of residential homes in eastern districts, along with targeted airstrikes in the same areas.

Since the ceasefire agreement on October 10, 406 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza and more than 1,118 injured, according to official reports.
