Doha: The Ministry of Interior has issued a call for the public to adhere to laws and regulations, specifically urging individuals to avoid using social media or digital platforms to spread rumors, incite unrest, or defame the State of Qatar and its institutions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry emphasized the importance of reporting any such behavior through its available contact channels. The Ministry further highlighted that actions involving the misuse of social media for these purposes would lead to legal accountability.
