Doha: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi discussed the latest developments in the region in a phone call today with Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares, following the Israeli military attack on Iranian territory.

According to Qatar News Agency, Araqchi reiterated, during the call, his emphasis on the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program, describing the Israeli attack on the Natanz facility as a major crime against international law and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

The Spanish Foreign Minister expressed his regret over these attacks, which resulted in civilian casualties. He also expressed his concern about the escalation of tension in the region, affirming his country’s readiness to make any good efforts in this regard.
