Baghdad: Iraq’s Defense Minister Thabet Mohammed Al Abbasi met Monday with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, who is currently visiting Baghdad. Discussions during the meeting dealt with enhancing military cooperation and coordination between the two sides.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral military ties and exploring potential areas for collaboration. Both leaders emphasized the need for increased cooperation in defense strategies and the exchange of military expertise.
