Baghdad: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani discussed Monday with UN Secretary General’s Special Representative for Iraq and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), Mohamed Al Hassan, cooperation with the UN.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Sudani affirmed the Iraqi government’s commitment to continued cooperation with UN specialized agencies, particularly in the areas of administrative reform and climate change, stressing the region’s pressing need for collaboration and coordination among its nations to achieve shared security.
For his part, Al Hassan emphasized UNAMI’s readiness to support Iraq’s vision in addressing the challenges facing the region.
Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid discussed with Mohamed Al Hassan yesterday, ways of cooperation and the UN mission’s efforts to support sustainable development in the country.
