Iraq’s PM Affirms Support for Lebanon’s Security and Stability

Baghdad: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani underscored his country’s support for Lebanon’s security and stability and all approaches contributing to subduing the recent war repercussions.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a phone call with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Al Sudani voiced hopes that electing a new president would help Lebanon achieve stability and prosperity, stressing Baghdad’s stance backing Lebanon’s security.

During the call, the two sides discussed ways to boost bilateral relations across various fields, issues of common concern, and the latest regional developments.
