Gaza city: Eight Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City.
According to Qatar News Agency, the airstrike targeted a residential apartment in the Al Quds Tower, east of Gaza City. Since October 7, 2023, the occupying forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 63,459 people, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 160,256 others. This is a preliminary toll, with a number of victims still under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulances and rescue teams cannot reach them.
This situation comes amid the ongoing siege and the prevention of ambulance and rescue crews from reaching several of the targeted locations, increasing the risk of the death toll rising in the coming hours.
