Nablus: Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale arrest and raid campaign across several West Bank governorates at dawn on Tuesday, detaining more than 32 Palestinians, including former prisoners and young men. The campaign involved violent house searches, vandalism of property, the setting up of military checkpoints, and the closure of main and secondary roads.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli occupation forces arrested nine Palestinians, including a freed prisoner, from Nablus and Qalqilya. Additionally, another seven were detained from Tulkarm after the forces raided, searched, and ransacked their homes.
Furthermore, nine Palestinians were arrested from various areas in Salfit and Bethlehem. In the city of Hebron, Israeli forces apprehended seven Palestinians following raids that targeted the city and nearby towns.
In the same context, the occupation forces set up military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and closed several roads with concrete blocks and earth mounds. This arrests campaign is part of an escalating policy by the Israeli occupation in the West Bank, aimed at intimidating Palestinians, restricting their movement, and targeting activists and freed prisoners.
