Israeli Occupation Forces Accused of Killing Over 56,077 Palestinians in Gaza

Gaza: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have reportedly killed at least 56,077 Palestinian civilians and injured approximately 131,848 others since the onset of the conflict in Gaza in October 2023. According to local sources, the past 24 hours have seen the arrival of 79 martyrs, including five recovered from debris, and 289 injured civilians at hospitals throughout the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ongoing violence follows the Israeli occupation’s violation of a ceasefire agreement on March 18, resulting in at least 5,759 Palestinian civilian deaths and 19,807 injuries. The sources highlighted that the Israeli forces have been targeting civilians awaiting humanitarian aid, with 49 fatalities and 197 injuries reported in the last day alone.

The sources also noted that the current figures are unofficial, as many victims remain trapped under the rubble of collapsed structures amid ongoing rescue efforts. The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to escalate, exacerbated by the Israeli occupation’s blockade on aid and persistent attacks on critical infrastructure, including medical facilities and shelters for displaced individuals.
