Israeli Strike Kills Two Medics in Southern Lebanon, Health Ministry Says

Haris: Two paramedics have been killed and a third critically injured in an Israeli air strike in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese health ministry.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry stated that the strike directly targeted a team of emergency responders in the town of Haris, located in the Bint Jbeil district. The attack reportedly occurred while the medics were performing their duties, resulting in two fatalities and leaving another seriously injured.

The Lebanese health ministry has condemned what it described as "systematic attacks" on the country's healthcare sector and indicated that efforts are ongoing to pursue legal action through international courts.

The incident is part of a larger escalation in hostilities. Since early last month, Israeli forces have conducted repeated air strikes and artillery shelling across various areas in southern Lebanon. The attacks have also reached areas in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
