“Jerusalem Electricity” and Civil Defense discuss ways of joint cooperation and development of bilateral relations

The Director General of the Civil Defense Agency, Major General Al-Abd Ibrahim Khalil, received today at the agency’s headquarters in the city of Ramallah a delegation from the Jerusalem Governorate Electricity Company, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the General Director of the company, Engineer Hisham Al-Omari, the Deputy Director General, Engineer Muhammad Zidan, and the Director of the Ramallah Branch, Engineer Thaer. Jaradat, the director of the Bethlehem branch, Engineer Jawad Abu Zar, the director of the technical department, Engineer Salah Alqam, and Mr. Firas Jubran, the company’s director of external public relations and protocol.

Major General Al-Abd praised the great efforts made by the Jerusalem Company to provide the best services to citizens in all governorates of the company’s concession, stressing in the same context the importance of preserving this Palestinian national edifice.

For his part, Engineer Hisham Al-Omari stressed the importance of joint cooperation with all official Palestinian authorities, including the Palestinian Civil Defense Service, and the importance of developing these relationships in a way that primarily serves the company’s subscribers.

During the meeting, they discussed strengthening the relationship and joint cooperation between the two parties in several areas, including public safety procedures and ways to hold training courses for public safety crews.

It was also discussed to form a committee from both parties regarding the pending cases in the company’s branches, to end obstacles as much as possible, and to create a state of flexibility to facilitate subscribers’ transactions.

These meetings come within the strategy of the Jerusalem Governorate Company to open the horizons of strategic relations with the relevant official institutions, to be a unified and joint system to serve the Palestinian community and citizen
