Doha: Jordan announced on Tuesday that it has foiled plots aimed at undermining national security and inciting chaos within the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, Jordan’s Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications, Dr. Mohammad Al Momani, stated that Jordanian intelligence services arrested all individuals involved in the activities, which had been under surveillance since 2021.

Al Momani added that the suspects have been referred to the State Security Court on charges under the Anti-Terrorism Law, following completion of investigations and approval of the indictment by the State Security Court’s Attorney General in accordance with legal procedures.
