Doha: Jordanian King Abdullah II discussed, in a phone call Wednesday with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid, ways to support de-escalation efforts in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, King Abdullah II emphasized the need to intensify Arab efforts to consolidate the ceasefire between Iran and Israel and to collaborate effectively with the international community to stop the war on Gaza and achieve comprehensive calm.
He also highlighted the potential repercussions of the dangerous escalation in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem on the security and stability of the region.
