The Jordanian monarch reiterated during the meeting the need to end the Israeli war on Gaza and Lebanon, as a basic requirement to avoid the expansion of the conflict in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, King Abdullah II emphasized that the international community must reject the occupation’s escalating measures related to preventing the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). He stressed the need to double relief aid to the Gaza Strip and ensure its arrival and distribution in all possible ways, to alleviate the humanitarian catastrophe.
