Amman: Jordan’s King Abdullah II has emphasized that achieving a just peace is crucial to addressing the historical injustices faced by Palestinians. He underscored Jordan’s commitment to intensive efforts through ongoing Arab and international initiatives aimed at stopping the ongoing war.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a speech before the Jordanian National Assembly, King Abdullah II reiterated Jordan’s unwavering stance against the aggression in Gaza and the Israeli attacks in the West Bank. He highlighted that Jordan’s future will not be dictated by policies that do not align with its interests or principles, emphasizing the importance of continuing to implement economic modernization and raising growth rates.

The King further elaborated that the 20th National Assembly marks the commencement of implementing a political modernization project, which aims to enhance the role of programmatic parties. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to cement Jordan’s commitment to sustainable growth and po
litical stability.
