The head of the Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, confirmed the Commission’s desire to cooperate with the Financial Police Service and the Italian National Anti-Corruption Authority.

Hanoun said during his meeting with the Italian Ambassador to Baghdad, Maurizio Cricanti: ‘The Integrity Commission worked with other state agencies to provide a safe environment for investment and the work of foreign companies.’

For his part, the Italian ambassador said: ‘Iraq and its regulatory bodies are moving in the right direction.
