Katara Events Continue to Draw Large Crowds During FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025

Doha: Events accompanying the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 are ongoing at Katara, attracting large crowds from various Arab nations who are reveling in a festive atmosphere enriched with art, heritage, and interactive activities.

According to Qatar News Agency, Katara’s Corniche is bustling with visitors who are enjoying a rich tapestry of cultural performances and activities.

In a scene vibrant with authenticity, the Qatari Ardah performance instilled pride and a sense of belonging, complemented by the powerful beating of drums. Folk ensembles from Palestine, Sudan, and Egypt captivated the audience with their distinctive rhythms and expressions that are deeply rooted in Arab cultural identity. The Palestinian troupe’s Dabke dance energized the atmosphere, portraying the strength of the land and tradition through synchronized steps and expressive movements. The Sudanese performance, with its lively rhythms and harmonious moves, showcased the richness of Sudanese heritage, spreading joy and excitement.

The Egyptian performances added a unique flavor, blending folk music with performers’ movements to tell stories from Egypt’s ancient history. The audience responded enthusiastically with applause and rhythmic participation. Reflecting Gulf heritage, the Kuwaiti Jahra troupe brought a majestic presence, presenting shows that carried the spirit of the sea and nostalgia for a beautiful past. The audience engaged with these displays, capturing unforgettable moments that celebrate Arab heritage and cultural unity.

Among the events, the Qatar Social Work Pavilion was notable for its interactive activities, competitions, and children’s games, which attracted families and fostered a sense of fun and connection. Senoono Village also drew crowds with match broadcasts and family activities, enhancing participation and engagement.

Ehsan, the Center for Elderly Care, made a significant appearance with interactive social programs aimed at promoting intergenerational communication and highlighting the elderly’s esteemed place in society. Their presence added a warm touch, reflecting the deeply rooted values of compassion and respect in Qatari culture.

Additionally, the classic car show was a highlight, featuring elegant historic vehicles that visitors admired as they strolled through the area, adding a unique celebratory dimension to the festivities.

Held daily from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM along Katara’s Corniche, these joyful, vibrant scenes embody the spirit of the Arab championship, offering visitors a rich cultural and heritage-filled experience that underscores Katara’s role as a beacon of civilization and a gathering place for arts and communities.
