The Kirkuk Police Commander, Major General Kawa Gharib, announced the imposition of a curfew throughout the city of Kirkuk, and the closure of its entrances and exits.

He said: “We decided to impose a curfew after the clashes that took place near the advanced headquarters, in order to prevent any deterioration of the situation.”
