Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday with the All Share Index gaining 36.29 points to reach 7,932.53 points, marking an increase of 0.46 percent. As many as 462.9 million shares valued at KWD 121.4 million (roughly USD 371.4 million) were traded through 28,554 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index saw an increase of 5.90 points, reaching 7,296.77 points, an increase of 0.08 percent. This was achieved through 293.4 million shares traded via 16,237 transactions with a total value of KWD 46.6 million (roughly USD 142.5 million).
The Premier Market Index experienced a rise of 45.68 points, reaching 8,483.01 points, up by 0.54 percent. This was facilitated through 169.5 million shares traded via 12,317 transactions, totaling a value of KWD 74.8 million (roughly USD 228.8 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse’s Main 50 Index increased by 79.34 points to reach 7,307.38 points, an increase of 1.10 percent. This movement involved a stock volume of 210.8 million shares completed in 11,016 deals, amounting to a value of KWD 33.6 million (roughly USD 102.8 million).
