Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index gained 5.10 points to reach 9,015 points, marking an increase of 0.06 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 406.3 million shares valued at KWD 86.9 million (roughly USD 265 million) were traded through 22,334 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a decline, dropping by 8.86 points to settle at 8,233.23 points, a decrease of 0.11 percent. This movement resulted from 301.2 million shares exchanged via 14,724 transactions, with a total value of KWD 45.9 million (approximately USD 140 million).
In contrast, the Premier Market Index saw a gain of 8.76 points, bringing it to 9,654.06 points, reflecting an increase of 0.09 percent. This was achieved through 105.14 million shares traded via 7,610 transactions, with a valuation of KWD 40.9 million (around USD 124.7 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index increased by 13.73 points to reach 8,602.02 points, up by 0.16 percent. This index saw a stock volume of 120.7 million shares traded through 6,685 deals, valued at KWD 22.11 million (approximately USD 67.4 million).
