Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday as the All Share Index gained 177.28 points to reach 8,230.93 points, an increase of 2.2 percent. As many as 888 million shares valued at KWD 170 million (roughly USD 555.9 million) were traded via 38,752 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went up by 88.32 points to reach 7,163.56 points, up by 1.25 percent, through 507.9 million shares done via 23,335 transactions valued at KWD 53.3 million (roughly USD 175.6 million).

The Premier Market Index gained 208.25 points to reach 8,903.97 points, up by 2.29 percent, through 380.1 million shares done via 15,417 transactions valued at KWD 116.2 million (roughly USD 380 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index went up by 105.06 points to reach 7,090.43 points, up by 1.50 percent, through stock volume of 282.6 million shares done in 10,311 deals at a value of KWD 30.3 million (roughly USD 99.1 million).
