Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday as the All Share Index lost 13.51 points to reach 8,039.38 points, a decrease of 0.17 percent. As many as 267.2 million shares valued at KWD 62.8 million (roughly USD 192.7 million) were traded via 14,479 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index saw an increase, going up by 14.26 points to reach 6,993.40 points, marking a rise of 0.20 percent. This movement involved 176.8 million shares executed through 8,341 transactions, totaling a value of KWD 24.7 million (roughly USD 75.8 million).
Contrastingly, the Premier Market Index recorded a loss, shedding 21.09 points to settle at 7,697.59, down by 0.24 percent. This was achieved through a volume of 90.3 million shares via 6,138 transactions, valued at KWD 38 million (roughly USD 116.6 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index experienced an upward trend, increasing by 35.63 points to reach 7,278.69 points, a rise of 0.49 percent. The stock volume for this index was 126.16 million shares, completed in 5,325 deals at a value of KWD 18.9 million (roughly USD 58 million).
